Well, what can I say? I was sceptical, ashamed and yet hopeful when I joined this site to find the "One" for me. Sceptical because of all of the society's cautions and warnings, ashamed because I ignored them and oh so hopeful that I would be able to find a decent brother to call my own.
I did! And who could know the joy and completeness that you feel when it happens!
He will be joining me at convention next month. Meeting my friends, my mother and all that I hold dear. The joy I will have to be by his side for 3 whole days while we learn more about Jehovah and more about each other.
To quote a movie (at least partially) "he completes me".
For the sceptics and the embarrassed and the condemners...all I can say is that only Jehovah knows the heart and only he can judge you. If you find yourself here then your heart, too, is desperate. If you are here to condemn, check that rafter first. Let your conscience guide you in all that you do...
A quick note to the brothers...don't be afraid to offer a brief subscription to someone that you feel an attraction to. Make sure you contact her...a lot of us sisters don't like having to make the moves. That is not how it is supposed to work. It's just like in service...all she can do is say no.
