Why should you get to know Mountain_Man?

I am an easy going kind of guy. I enjoy almost anything that gets me out in the Colorado high country; hiking, backpacking, backcountry skiing, etc.. Any excursion outdoors would be incomplete with out my faithful dog and my camera. I also enjoy reading, music, the occasional movie, and learning new things. I always try to have a can-do attitude, if I don’t know how to do something I try to learn how or just figure it out. I live in the mountains and enjoy all aspects of mountain life, from the deer and elk that hang out in my front yard to cutting and splitting my own firewood.

I have been in the Truth since I was a teenager, serving as a publisher. I currently attend a nice small congregation with about 30 others. It is a lot different than some of the bigger congregations that have 150+ witnesses. Every comment, school part, and field service is important when there are so few of us. But because of the smaller size it is more family like than other congregations that I have been in before.

I think that I am a well rounded person. I work as an Engineer to pay my bills and to be able to live my chosen lifestyle. I am very regular at the meetings, though now that winter is here I have had to use the phone hook-up several times because of storms. I think that I am well read and can converse on almost any subject, try me. I have traveled a moderate amount around the US, including Europe and the Orient, and am looking forward to more in the future. I have a plethora of other activities and interests.
