In His Own Words

About Him

DON'T BE A VICTIM!

Scammers are professional criminals who are out there to "get" you.

They can be male or female, and impersonate whatever you are looking for
(meaning: they can me men pretending to be women; or women pretending to be men)

TELL-TALE SIGNS of a SCAMMER:

They are skilled at building trust and know how to make victims fall in love with them.

They sound wonderful, but in reality they are a criminal sitting in a cybercafe with a well-rehearsed script they've used many times before.

Photographs may be exchanged, but most are stolen pictures, or pictures of ex-victims.

Ultimately, their goal is to trick you into sending them money. Once they pocket the money, they move on to the next victim.

They may not ask for money directly, but may ask you to cash money orders or cheques and wire them the proceeds--which turn out to be fake or stolen, and you end up responsible to pay the money back.

Sometimes they want you to "re-ship" items for them, often goods purchased with stolen credit cards.

After they exchange emails, their profile disappears off the website immediately after conversation begins.

Many claim to have lost a spouse/child/parent in a horrific traffic accident; and have no close family or friend.

Their spelling is atrocious--and they are notorious for using 'i' instead of 'I'.

They appear uneducated with their speaking/writing skills.

They claim to love you too soon, and immediately start using pet names with you.

"I LOVE YOU" appears in capital letters.

They send you poems or love letters that become long, flowery and romantic with lots of kisses and hugs at the end.

They often ignore personal questions about themselves.

They immediately want your address

They ask for your phone # but when they call, you can barely understand a word, and they say it's a bad connection.

Never trust strangers with phone numbers beginning with +23480 or +23470, or +4470. These are numbers used by scammers.

About His Ideal Match
