What I am looking for first and foremost is someone who is my friend and lover. Someone I feel so comfortable being myself with, that loves life, loves HER life and wants to partner with me on this journey called life. I have an amazing life and want someone who can only add to that. I am seeking someone with another oar to get in the boat with me, and row. Not that there won't be differentiation between what we contribute to the relationship, but that the synergy of each part coming together creates something greater for both people. I think that to have expectations is somehow limiting to both people. Expectations define, in a narrow window, how the other person is supposed to show up for you in the relationship/date. Hopes, however, are another matter, and leave open limitless possibilities and potential for what can be... My favorite bible verse is 1 Corinthians 13--Love is patient, love is kind. It is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. The LORD is a part of my life, well, not just a part, HE is my life...So I would like to ask you a question. Jesus asked Peter, "Who do you say I am?" If Jesus asked you, who would you say HE was?
About Her Ideal Match
My idea of romance is not of the materialistic kind, but of the simple kind.... I like to live the outdoor life, to feel the wind, and sun on my face, which makes you feel alive and there is nothing nicer than sharing those experiences with someone who makes you feel loved, cared for, protected, and secure. How beautiful it is to see a sun set, or to just sit and watch the world go by, holding hands with the person who makes you smile on the inside as well as the outside, don't get me wrong, I still enjoy going out for meals, going to parties, and I love spending time with my family and friends, I feel we all need to go through life with our eyes wide open, not take anyone, or anything for granted..... Life is too short; this is not a dress rehearsal..... It is the real thing, and simple moments should be captured. Sometimes the littlest things are the best and what makes a relationship spontaneous, fun and alive. The love, the romance, the trust, the stability, having a best friend in my opinion AMAZING and if one keeps it simple and easy, love will grow to where you don't want to be without the other person
