About Her
I am a fun, easy going person who gets along with most everyone. The youngest of five children, I'm used to compromising and am willing to try new things. Unless it's food, I'm a VERY picky eater and have a terrible time tasting things that are not part of my everyday diet. I'm not much for loud music and party scenes, I can't dance well, and I don't usually go in for the boisterous crowd anyway. I'm more into a fun night playing cards with family or watching movies I've seen a hundred times. I'm a writer and can write most anything, as such I'm also an avid reader. I love to escape into the world of fiction, but I also bury myself in self-improvement and bible based literature. I love studying and learning new things, and have even written several poems to explain why we believe as we do as JW's, namely Christmas, The Reason We Are Here, and Easter, to mention a few. I also love crafts. I scrapbook some, but my real craft passion is in Cross Stitch. I can sit for hours and sew, making creations and seeing them come to life.
As for my outlook on life, I think it's pretty good. I know we live in a world that is full of problems, as it is clearly in the hands of Satan, but I'm thankful to be alive to experience it. I know one day Jehovah will put an end to all suffering as is promised in Rev. 21:3-5. I anxiously await that time, but I'm also looking to make the best of the time I have left in this system, as no one knows how long that will be.
About Her Ideal Match
A long time ago, when I was just a teenager, a sister in the congregation told me, "It's not enough to find someone who's in the truth, you have to find someone who has the truth in them."
This is what I'm looking for. Someone who loves Jehovah and puts serving him first in his life, but at the same time, understands that there are other responsibilities in life, such as providing for your family. I want someone who is caring and romantic, and wants to spend time with me. I would like to be with someone who loves the country, as I would love to have a small ranch someday, with horses and a few other animals. He must be compassionate and respectful of his elders, as this shows me how he will one day cherish his wife. I like going for walks in the country, or horseback riding, or just sitting by a small fire and talking about our day. I also want someone who will be comfortable with us sharing space as we both enjoy a good book of our individual choosing. I love to go for drives with no destination in mind and to travel and see the world. My ideal match will enjoy these things as well.
I want to find someone who is open to the idea of foster care or adoption. At my age, I'm on the border about having biological children, but I love kids and feel that there are so many children in this world that need a home, I feel a strong pull to help them and yearn to teach them what a real family is like and about Jehovah's promises. My ideal mate will share these feelings so we can work together in turning this into a reality.
A deal breaker for me would be drug use, smoking, chewing or heavy drinking; anger issues; abusive nature; shouting; showing disrespect; controlling attitudes; domineering; or showing a lack of appreciation for life.
