About Him
Everything is I say about myself is subjective.. To see yourself as others see you is virtually impossible.
I was brought up in the Truth. Pioneered for 7 years. Got married, had children . In common with many on this site the marriage ultimately was not a success. Although the "innocent" partner I had faults & still do. I was divorced 8 years ago & am free to re-marry. After a difficult time spiritually, a move & fresh start I am now, apparently, a valued member of the congregation.
I have three children all over 30 years old. My eldest daughter is married with two children. My son is living with me temporarily - NOT part of the package! . None of my children are in the truth.
Although the truth is the major factor of common interest, language & culture are also a consideration in choosing a life partner. Of course there is so much we can learn from exposure to other cultures which is one of the reasons I enjoy travelling.
I have a love/hate relationship with cars but given the choice I like travelling by train or boat.
I have a wide taste in music & enjoy listening to it most days.
I was a good all round sportsman at school with a couple of exceptions. Keen follower of football (Soccer) but not a fanatic. These days I enjoy cycling, gardening and technology and am also an Airbnb Host.
I have no outstanding skills or talents. I can put up a shelf no problem & will have a go at most things but if you want your home remodelling to show house standards you'd better look elsewhere!!
I am coherent... on good days ha ha , have a good sense of humour & can laugh at myself. I am a realist ,so do not expect too much, but try to be a glass half full person . I am pretty laid back, although I have noticed that with age l am slightly less patient and tolerant toward others - something I need to keep an eye on... I am still waiting to achieve my full potential. Cheerful, a bit of a romantic & can hold a conversation. But that is me telling you .. find out for yourself - I don't bite except on days ending in y !!

Appreciate honesty and positive outlook. A good listener would be beneficial.Sense of humour a pre-requisite including the ability to laugh at oneself. Intelligent and witty. A music lover. A realist. I'm far from being perfect and am not expecting perfection in anyone else!
I am not rich in either cash or assets and probably relatively poor by Western standards but I hope I have a generous spirit. True, money does give us choices or options but in my experience happiness is determined by who you have in your life and not by what you or they possess.
For those that have looks set to attractive or very attractive as a non negotiable requirement could be excluding perfectly acceptable profiles as it is a matter of perception, personal taste and is therefore subjective.
