About Her
Loyal to Jehovah since baptism at 8, married young in the truth. I've worked hard to develop qualities of Prov 31. I learned the hard way that it takes two who love Jehovah first to make a good marriage. Being in the truth is not about how it looks to others, but about your personal relationship with Jehovah. Shortly before my 30th anniversary, I was divorced, free to remarry. This was a huge test for me and spiritually damaging to my sons. I am happy 3 have returned to Jehovah. I pray the fourth will as well. In 2009 I was a delegate to the conv. in Honolulu. In 2011, I dealt with unexpected health issues. With those resolved, I returned to secular work in 2012. I was privileged as a delegate to Athens in 2014 then toured Israel and Jordan. Went to visit Walkill, Patterson, Brooklyn, and the Canadian Bethel in 2015 with my youngest son and his family. Love service. Would love to pioneer again. Pioneered in the past for close to 9 years under varying circumstances. I love to travel, scuba, the beach, the forest, meeting new people, and spending time with friends. I love harmony, hate conflict, would like someone to do and share things with, although I appreciate my alone time, and respect others. I'm not high maintenance, am good with much or little. I want someone who loves Jehovah more than me, who takes the responsibility of being the spiritual head of the family seriously. I want a mental connection, as well as a physical and emotional one. A good friend, as well as lover and mentor. A pioneer partner would be great, or someone with the pioneer spirit. I would willingly follow and support a spiritual person in whatever capacity Jehovah chose to use him. I'm very easy going, and empathetic. I see the humor in life, even when things aren't going so well, can laugh at myself, witty at times, and I would love to have someone with whom to share the humor. I am a mixture of idealistic, realistic, curious, and analytical. I am also loyal, responsible and trustworthy.
About Her Ideal Match
My first requirement is someone who loves Jehovah more than me, and who understands what that statement really means, and why I say it. Next in importance is loyalty, intrinsic kindness and a sense of humor, so that even when things go wrong, there can be peace and harmony. Confident in yourself, and your relationship with Jehovah, so you don't mind if I ask questions or even how you arrived at a decision. I'm not questioning your decision, just want to learn from you. I'm an analyzer by nature, and never stop learning. Would you be OK with that? Are you a good listener? It would be nice if you enjoyed entertaining, especially small groups, and talking about ideas, science and new discoveries. I would love to have someone with whom to share family worship. It would be great if you enjoyed the water and travel, and experiencing new things. I want to be a complement, not your competitor. I have four sons who do not have an emotional relationship with a father, but are extremely intelligent and loving and who hate hypocrites. Although my sons are all grown, I believe that the best encouragement would be a caring male role model, who loves Jehovah and their mother. I would love to experience the kind of mature love that I have not had the opportunity to share with a mate. However, it is more important to me that my sons all develop a good relationship with Jehovah than that I be married. So a willingness on your part to be interested in my sons everlasting life, to value them as people is highly important. Although I would love a pioneer partner if/when I can do that, I am adjustable and would be willing to follow and support a spiritual man in whatever capacity Jehovah chose to use him. I long for a husband who is my second best friend, right after Jehovah.
