About Him
I have a good heart, mind, job, and a proven track record as a father. Because I am divorced, there were obviously issues (a TWO way street), but that's the past and I'm ready to get back to "normal".
Total disclosure: Spiritually, my wounds have been slow to heal. I am not a ministerial servant or an elder, but I do love Jehovah & completely accept The Truth. I strive to do better every day. When I am active, I really do enjoy field service. It would be nice to do it with a mate.
As a man, I have to admit that I am more emotional than many. If you want a rough-n-tough cowboy, that is not me! I have a romantic disposition, but I'm out of practice. I am young at heart, honest & opinionated, friendly and easy going. I like to joke around & generally be jolly. I am not easily offended nor judgmental, I get along with all walks of life, races, & statuses. I am a great communicator with a great sense of humor. I enjoy board games, cards, gathering with friends & family, picnics, cooking, day trips, theater, movies, theme parks, and the water. I’m a homebody type who has a love of spontaneity!
I am not a typical man with a lot of vices (i.e. I'm not a drinker, not a Sunday footballer, I listen (and talk BTW). I am currently overweight but otherwise healthy. I go to the gym when the mood hits me but motivation is weak. I love my job and am good at it. I love dogs (and treat them as good as a child). I am grateful for my children (Ps. 127:3) and the earthly hope.
I am wired for a relationship and did not expect nor want my divorce. I have somewhat of an "old-school" ideal about marriage being JOINT at every step of the way. I want a partnership with a normal sister who is not expecting Jesus because the best I can offer is Peter.

I prefer a sister who is easy-going, empathetic, understanding, & non-judgmental and one who will communicate with me honestly and regularly. I am drawn to sisters who respect Jehovah's arrangements but are not super-submissive; one who enjoys life, has a great sense of humor, and who supports me emotionally and spiritually while being able to stand on her own. I like sisters who are genuine and jolly.
I like a strong, outgoing woman who makes friends easily and wants a nice home life with the truth and family. I truly enjoy socializing, field service, & being with others, but I am not a natural planner on my own. IN THAT REGARDS, I tend to be more of a follower, and I hope to find a wife who will plan dinners, game nights, & similar activities for the family. Please do not be a wallflower, but don't be a party animal either! I need a sister who will be friends with my grown children without jealousy and who generally just enjoys life and is not expecting a perfect man.
Another note: I am not looking for 'fireworks'! I want a mate and a friend and a companion to just live a normal life with.
