About Him
Older in years I like to think that now I have the knowledge and wisdom to match. I’m very easy-going. I have a great sense of humor and try to give things the relevance that it deserves. I feel that I’ve smoothed out the rough edges of my personality and I feel I’m the best version of myself — and getting better with time. That said, I realize that I still don’t know more than I do know. Jehovah certainly has been patient with me and yet as I continue to falter at times, I charge through knowing that this is temporary, and the hope of everlasting life is in front of us.
I’m definitely a half-full kinda of guy. I’ve been told I’m kind of edgy with a whimsical sense of humor.
Admittedly, I’m a romantic. I envy the the elderly couple walking down the street—hand and hand— out of both love and the fear of letting go.
I was taught manners at a young age. I say please and thank you, I open doors, I listen more than I speak, and most importantly, I know when to “keep the seat down”.
My mother taught me style and substance. I know how to dress. I don’t tuck my shirt into gym shorts. My daughter would run for me if I wore socks with sandals, and only Pee-wee Herman looks good in plaids and stripes.
Oh yeah, just when I think it I have it altogether, I realize I can be difficult too. Once I think it through I pray and come to my senses and I’ll always try to write the wrong and hope for forgiveness. The biggest takeaway is to communicate. I need to talk things out. That’s my super power.
I like to think I’m in pretty good shape. Working out is engrained in my lifestyle besides being my vocation.
I’m hoping to meet that special someone who is willing to put in the effort for a long lasting relation relationship with the time that we have both in this system and into the world.
