About Him
I am friendly, outgoing, kind, approachable who likes to have a good laugh and banter. I have a weird and wonderful sense of humour that may take some people a while to get use to or may not even understand at all but its all done in good nature and a laugh so may need to be patient with me. I’m looking to make new friends due to moving to a new area. I love going for walks, keeping fit and healthy. Like animals, nature, wildlife, outdoors, sport, football, music. I am honest, trustworthy and a good listener. Luckily I enjoy sport & exercising but it is essential I carry out things such as daily stretching, strength resistance training, somatics, pilates, yoga, mindfulness & meditation at home, this keeps my body flexible and nimble without it I wouldn’t be able to walk due to a severe rta I was involved in and soft tissues damages encountered resulting in 10% permanent damages down left hand side. Doing the above means I can still stand upright and walk daily, this forms part of my relaxation and music plays a key part toward this too. My outlook, motivation in life is to be able to see my dad and close personal friend of mine who died of cancer years ago in their late twenties again in the resurrection. I was brought up in the truth, used to be a regular pioneer before I got married but became inactive in 2001 when my dad died, family issues and discouragement within congregation. I started coming back at the 2024 memorial after the X walked out on me for someone else back in 2023 and now divorced. I have downsized, moved location, have made peace with my family but toxic so really only keep in touch with my mam. I’m in a new congregation, currently studying with an elder, attended physically this years memorial and special talk but currently attend regularly otherwise. My immediate next goals is I’m hoping to progress towards increasing my activity and attend more meetings physically.
