Do people even read these? I mean we are looking for someone to spend the rest of our lives with aren't we?
I took some quiz on the internet that said I have an INTJ personality. I don't know the ins and outs of all that but who am I to argue with the internet and its infinite wisdom? I have very few close friends so I guess the "I" part is accurate (better to have 4 quarters than 100 pennies and all that), eh whatever. I'm not hard to get along with but I'm not everyone's cup of tea either. *shrug*
I was baptized in 2006.
I am regular at meetings and in field service.
I work in a foundry. It's sort of like getting paid to lift weights only hotter and dirtier. The hours suck, but I'm always down to arm wrestle ;).
I'm into the off-grid, tiny house, homesteading, self sufficiency country lifestyle but I do like to hit the town now and then. Yeah, it's work but have you seen the store shelves lately?
My interests include (but are not limited to): collecting odd fishing reels, fishing with them, finding unusual seeds, gardening with them, firearms, shooting them, reloading for them, hunting, enjoying good movies, heckling bad ones, board games, garage sales, comic cons, cosplay, Backwoodsman Magazine, seasons 3-9 of the Simpsons, aquariums, Super Nintendo era RPG's, reading, writing, 1/35 scale modelling, taking pictures of myself holding dead fish, posting them on dating sites and tinkering.
I'm not gonna paint myself as prince charming. I say and do dumb things with alarming regularity, I have a stubborn gut that doesn't want to go away and I can be moody. In other words I'm human. BUT on the bright side, I am hard working, affectionate, money wise, protective, pragmatic, a competent cook, a braggable kisser and an unimpressive accordionist. I take 1Timothy 5:8 VERY seriously.
I do not want children nor do I care to date outside of the United States.

I understand the above isn't going to appeal to everyone, but if you love Jehovah, like gardening and fishing we'll probably get along. Shoes optional.
But seriously folks...
I want someone that will get their hands dirty in the garden, to be supportive when I'm down, to be spiritually upbuilding, to keep the house tidy, to tease me when she beats me at video games or catches a bigger fish, to take care of me when I'm sick, to be generous with affection, to appreciate me, love me and know that I'll be right next to her doing the same.
I place tremendous value on intimacy (no I don't just mean sex, I mean that close familiarity that lets you know how your mate feels without a word, or how much they'd appreciate that silly little thing you found them at a garage sale).
Whew! You finally made it to the end of my wall of text. Congrats, you're trooper! I know it was long winded but I'm a full disclosure kind of guy and don't want to waste our time. I know what I want, you know what you want and if those things don't jive there weren't any sudden surprises or hurt feelings at the last minute.
