About Her
Prodigal daughter - grew up in the Truth, but never got the point of it until I truly needed it in my life and how grateful I was that I knew where to turn. Thankfully, I did not have any prolonged consequences of a Worldly Life (i.e. unwanted pregnancies, felonies, side-effects), which allowed me to accept Jehovah's invitation without anything preventing me from serving Him to the full. And that I did by Regular Pioneering for the first 5 years of my dedicated life. I have been faithfully serving Jehovah now for 10 plus years; and I would like to make friends that likewise love Jehovah and enjoy life.
I truly enjoyed Regular Pioneering and all this avenue of service offers; but I made the decision to come of the list due to not meeting the hourly requirement. I enjoy the ministry and I am seeking to expand my ministry by attempting to learn a second language. .
I live in a small town with a small congregation, made up of mostly married couples, and being a single sister, I have been pretty much a third-wheel and looking to change that. However, I take marriage seriously, and I understand it is not something you rush into if you plan on making it last.
I love shopping (I am such a girl, lol). I love camping and fishing (I am such a tom-boy, lol). I enjoy good food, good friends, and good times.
I love traveling and I look forward to "widening out" and experiencing this World Wide association of brothers.
About Her Ideal Match
Someone who has their priorities in-line with Kingdom interests, but knows how to have fun and is not overly righteous. This should not be confused with someone who is not spiritually-minded. You do not serve Jehovah faithfully for years without incident with a past such as mine by socializing closely with just anyone. While I am friendly and can chat with just about anyone (after all, I am a Witness, lol), I do not form close relationships with anyone I feel would destroy my spiritual progress. But at the same time, I cannot tolerate "righteous over much"...Jehovah is not through molding us yet. I would like someone who can listen to music without judging everything, someone who can watch a movie without condemning everything, someone who can have a drink in moderation without criticizing....(praying you get the idea).
I just toured Bethel not too long ago and fell in love with it. I would like to meet someone who upon marriage, would enjoy attending and working TEMPORARILY at Bethel during the first year of marriage. What better place to work at putting on that "new personality" and to help overcome the culture shock of merging two independent lives into one life that would bring praise to Jehovah? I feel that this would allow me to work at being a truly humble and submissive wife and would help my future husband work on being an amazing spiritual "head" that I can easily grow to love and respect - just a thought.
