Though I was baptized years ago, a servant, pioneered for years, studied with over 300 people (a few were baptized) aside from memorials it has been some time since I have been to any meetings. I just don't go. To long to get into. Still hang out with many of my old friends, but just not feeling it.
Of course, my sisters let me know that I am never gonna meet someone, since I'm not going. And I get that. But I remind them that going to meetings does not mean you are a good person! I met a sister that I ended up dating. She had been married twice. One came from Bethel, the other the son of an elder. One cheated on her, the other cheated on her and was physically abusive. I would never discourage anyone from not going to the meetings, but I don't think it is some type of guarantee that one will be a good spouse. Though it SHOULD!!! If I am loving, supportive, easy-going, non emotionally, mentally or physically abusive, still know the Bible inside and out, and am a great human. Then I guess I will have to leave it in the hands of the creator to judge. I understand that 99% won't want to get to know me, AND I COMPLETELY get it!
Ohhhhh, the second bad thing. I am actually 61. I put 1972, because even though I have never had a girlfriend over 27 (going older now) if people saw 61 they would automatically block it. But to me it's about energy, outlook on life, communication, laughter, romance, and understanding the other person. You can be the same age, and still be nothing alike. BTW, the last two photos were from last month.
Side note on age. If the paradise will be here in a few years, why does age matter? Sisters, don't discount YOUNGER brothers, if you click.
