I’m a little skeptical about the whole concept of online dating — but I figured I’d give it a chance. My social circle is fairly small, so perhaps this is simply another way for the right person to find me. 🤷🏼♀️
I’m not necessarily actively searching for a husband, but I am open to the possibility of him finding me. If my future husband is out there wondering where on earth I am, I figured I might as well make myself a little easier to find. 😊
I’m very much a country/village girl. My current next-door neighbour is literally a field, which probably tells you most of what you need to know. I don’t think I’d be particularly happy in a city, and even the suburbs feel a little too busy for me.
I’m quiet and shy initially, but there’s considerably more personality hiding underneath once I’m comfortable. I’m loyal, loving, and a definite homebody. I enjoy a slower-paced life and I’m happiest around nature, animals, natural materials, and things that feel cosy and timeless.
I love designing, planning and figuring out how things could work better — whether that’s a room, a garden, a house, or everyday life. I also read a lot of romance, which is perhaps slightly ironic considering I’ve never actually had a boyfriend. 😅
My little Pomeranian, Ellie, currently has a pretty secure position as the best thing in my life. She may have to negotiate that position with the right man someday.
The past few years have involved quite a lot of working on myself and figuring out what kind of life and relationship I actually want. My social circle is smaller than it once was, but I’m hoping life still has some lovely surprises in store.
I’m not looking for someone to complete me. I’d much rather find someone I can build a genuinely good life with — slowly, loyally, and with plenty of laughter along the way.

Dream scenario? A rugged Scotsman somewhere in the Highlands. Preferably auburn or ginger — think Scottish lumberjack vibes, with bonus points for a good beard. 😂
But underneath the rather specific aesthetic preferences, I’m looking for a man I can genuinely respect and build a life with.
Someone who takes his faith and spiritual responsibility seriously, and who wants to take the lead in his family with humility, wisdom and love. I want to be able to respect his judgement and trust his leadership — not because I have to agree with him on everything, but because I know he genuinely cares about what is best for our family and is willing to listen, discuss and take responsibility for his decisions.
I want an everyday partner: down-to-earth, practical, patient, loving and caring. Someone who communicates honestly, can talk things through when life gets difficult, and still laughs at the ridiculous little things.
Someone loyal, who has eyes for me and is genuinely committed to making a marriage work. I want us to be a team — not identical people, but two people who choose each other and have each other’s backs.
He’ll also need to accept that my fur baby Ellie is very much part of the package. 🐾
Ultimately, I’m looking for someone kind and dependable, with a good sense of humour, a strong faith, and a desire to build a peaceful, simple life together — preferably somewhere with more hills than traffic.
